Villa Corsini a Mezzomonte

In the depths of the Florentine Chianti, you’ll find Villa Corsini. Built during the 14th century on stone blocks, at “mezzo monte” meaning in the middle of a hill.

On this spot, around the 11th century, we could’ve found a fortified farm, and still today it is possible to recognize its remains, such as the southern wall, with its ancient battlements.

The former Medici villa has many sumptuous spaces, ideal for wedding receptions both indoors and outdoors.

The magnificent Gallery, one of the biggest hall with frescoes in Tuscany, dating back to 1631, is characterized by its unmatched elegance and ability to blend into any type of scene.

A fantastic place to dream, immersed in a bright and sophisticated seventeenth-century atmosphere. Welcomed by the four allegories frescoed on the walls: Poetry, Music, Painting, and Medicine, which are also characterized by a peculiar effect called anamorphosis.

The elegant Italian Gardens, located in the southern part of the villa, is specially designed for the large balcony on which it is located; a magical environment that guides you and accompanies your gaze over the typical and soft expanse of the Chianti, among vineyards, cypresses, olive groves …

In addition to the roof garden, there is a large English style garden on the north-west side of the villa, surrounded by centuries-old horse-chestnuts and ramparts. Overlooking an expanse of hills. An open space ideal for busy receptions. A graceful place that the photographer will capture, immortalizing the magic of an unforgettable memory, that being your wedding.
